MEET THE TEAM

Todd Boeve is a member of the Board of Directors and leads Company Operations. Todd graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations. He has worked in a variety of industries and has spent the last 12+ years in life insurance and financial services, ultimately as V.P. of Operations and Corporate Secretary for a top Nebraska life insurance company. Todd has also served on various Boards of Directors in the life insurance industry. Todd and his wife, Cheryl, have 2 grown children, Brett and Mackenzie. Todd enjoys golf and traveling with his wife in his spare time

Garrett Svoboda is a member of the Board of Directors and also serves as the President of Nebraska Owners Insurance Agency. From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Svoboda was an employee of American Life & Security Corp., a life insurance and financial services company headquartered in Lincoln. He began working for American Life as an agent and held various positions throughout his career there, ultimately achieving a position as Executive Sales Director. Garrett has demonstrated success in growing insurance sales and operations teams. He has a proven ability to develop and motivate others to succeed and excels at identifying new market opportunities and forging meaningful business relationships.

Garrett loves to golf and to work with others. He enjoys guiding others towards their greatest potential.

Jessa Grashorn joins the Lincoln office as the Administration & Transition Manager. She was born and raised in Norfolk, NE moving to Lincoln in 2006. She has 17 years of insurance industry and leadership experience managing teams of up to 25 employees at a time. She has received her FLMI designation from LOMA. She has a daughter named Cali and a son named Adrian and a dog named Bella. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children, going to farmers markets, baking and spending time with friends.

Amina is the Administrative Assistant at the Home Office and has been with NOIA for over a year. Amina enjoys the variety her role brings, with each day offering something new and different. She began her insurance career in 2020 and holds a Nebraska Property and Casualty license, with experience in both the property and casualty sector as well as annuities. Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, she loves tending to her plants, cooking, going on nature walks, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Brookly Boeve was raised in Grand Island and moved to Lincoln where she graduated from UNL in 2019 with a degree in Child, Youth, & Family Studies. After college, she worked in Foster Care for 3 years before moving a different direction where she spent time at Kiewit Corporation working in data maintenance and customer service for multiple projects and districts all over the US, Canada and Mexico.

Brookly is passionate about serving and supporting others. She enjoys interacting with new people and making new connections. She is eager to learn and dive into the insurance industry and continue providing customer service while expanding her knowledge and adding to her skill set.

In her free time, Brookly enjoys spending time with friends, family and her husband, being outdoors, and playing with her Mini Aussie, Milo.

Mackenzie Boeve joined NOIA in February 2025. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. With a passion for helping others and creating meaningful connections, Mackenzie is committed to contributing to both individual and team success. She is excited to continue broadening her knowledge and making a positive impact within her organization and beyond. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and playing with her dog, Paddington.

Amy comes to us with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Doane University and 10+ years of private and public accounting experience. Amy is also our 3rd shareholder turned employee. Amy, her husband Tyler and 3 children, Mason, Rylee, and River live in Central City where she will be working out of her home. In her spare time, Amy enjoys camping, fishing, gardening and being with her family.

Sara joined NOIA in 2023, bringing with her a degree in Business Administration and several years of experience in banking and accounting. She lives near Central City, where her husband farms, and together they are raising their two boys, Hayes and Reece. Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and being with her family.

Shawna Janky is our newest staff accountant and has an extensive background in Epic accounting and financials. Previous to joining the NOIA team, she has worked for Pinnacle Bancorp, Inc. for over 7 years handling personal and business financials. She was born and raised in Central City, NE, where she currently resides with her husband, Tyler Janky, and their 2 children Austin, and Andi. Shawna is excited to join the NOIA team!

In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, working out, and gardening.

Prior to joining Nebraska Owners Insurance Agency, Angela Kohmetscher worked in the Licensing Department for Allstate Corporation from 2001-2005, licensing independent insurance agents. In 2005, Ms. Kohmetscher put her career on hold to stay home and raise her children. During that time, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Upon Graduating in 2014, Angela worked in the Sales department of 10/11 Television as a Multimedia marketing Specialist. While there, she was awarded “Multimedia Marketing Specialist of 2016,” followed by earning the designation of “Most New Business” from 2017 through 2019. In her free time you will find Angela with her friends and family, or on a golf course.

Lisa Allen is excited to return to Nebraska Owners Insurance Agency as a Business Development Specialist. With an extensive background in sales and relationship-driven growth, she enjoys building trusted connections with shareholders and insurance clients. Lisa has relationships with many of the agency’s shareholders and looks forward to reconnecting while supporting continued growth across Nebraska.

Lisa is a born and raised Nebraskan, where she grew up on a dairy farm near Osceola, Nebraska. She and her husband Craig have decades of strong roots in the York/Polk County area where they farmed and raised hogs and cattle for over 25 years. Married for 45 years, they live south of Clarks on Sundance Lake. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

KC brings 10 years of insurance and leadership experience to the agency and is licensed in home, auto, farm, commercial, crop, and life insurance. While KC is fully licensed to write all lines of business, he specializes in farm and crop insurance.

KC and his wife, Mikayla, reside in Bellwood with their 2 kids. In his spare time he enjoys camping, fishing, raising cattle and spending time with his family.

Asija Arnautovic is originally from Bosnia but grew up in Lincoln, NE, where she completed her education. She brings over 10 years of experience in the insurance and claims industry. In addition to English, Asija speaks three other languages, which allows her to connect with a diverse range of people. She is passionate about helping others and building strong connections within the community, and she truly enjoys getting to know new people. Outside of work, Asija can often be found supporting her two kids, Nora and Callum, at their sporting events. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
