Ginger Moon graduated from Ewing High School in 1957 and began her insurance career that same year as a CSR with Eno Insurance Agency in Lincoln, Nebraska. In April 1958, while visiting her parents, she interviewed with the Bob Gaskill Insurance Agency in Neligh, Nebraska, and accepted a secretary position, remaining there until 1965. In 1967, she moved to Albion, Nebraska, where she sold life, health, and disability insurance, after previously working in Columbus with a health, life, and disability agent. By 1973, she returned to Columbus, where she focused on her family and sold Avon. In 1981, Ginger reentered the insurance industry as a secretary/agent with Jerry Frieze Insurance Agency. She purchased the agency in 1994, renaming it Ginger Moon & Associates Insurance Agency, which she owned and operated for 29 years. In September 2023, she sold the agency to Nebraska Owners Insurance Agency (NOIA) and continues to work with them today. With more than 60 years of experience, Ginger has dedicated her life to the insurance profession.
